Shannon's Getting Married!

Only two more days! Patrick and I are getting married on August 31 at noon. We are excited! The weather looks good, and everything is almost ready to go. :)

Then we're off to our honeymoon in the Carribean on the island of St. John. I couldn't be luckier! See you on September 10!

Candle Tip of the Day

Keep the wick centered. Never burn a candle unless the wick is centered.

This is good advice. I've tried to burn a candle when the wick isn't centered, and it doesn't work very well. The wax doesn't burn evenly, and the candle gets messy.

New Store in Draper, Utah

For those who LOVE scrapbooking, we are opening a new scrapbook store in Draper in September. Our scrapbook store has been a success in Lindon so we decided to open another store in Draper. We will have 0ur famous page packets there.

The Grand Opening is Saturday, September 22 from 10 to 6 p.m. The page packets will be Buy One, Get One FREE! KOSY 106.5 will also be there on that day.

Health Care Heros Award

We received the Health Care Heros Award from Utah Business Magazine. We will receive the award in September. They selected us for this award because of our Biggest Loser Contest! Utah Business Magazine was impressed with our program. Their photographer came this week to take a picture of some of the participants with our founder and CEO.

This was the second year we've done the Biggest Loser Contest. This year it lasted three months for the guys and four months for the girls. We had a tie with the guys and one winner for the girls. The employee who lost the most in percentage weight loss was the winner. It was fun!

Seven Peaks Party Tonight for all Employees!

Get ready to get wet and eat lots of good food! Tonight is our summer party for all employees and their families at Seven Peaks Water Park from 6 to 10:30! The slides and pools will be open, and there will be lots of great food. It's a party you won't want to miss!

Congratulations LaRen!

LaRen, in our sales department, got married today! We are excited for her and her new husband, Ryan. They were married in Salt Lake and have a reception tonight in Lindon.
