Habitat for Humanity

We had a great time at Habitat for Humanity today! We helped remodel this house. We put in doors, fixed a window, and put up dry wall. It was fun. We all had a great time! We even got little snacks and water too. This was our third time helping at Habitat.

Habitat for Humanity

We had our second volunteer experience at Habitat for Humanity today. The first Thursday of every month for six months we are volunteering at Habitat. We would like to be more involved in the community by volunteering our time and doing service.

Last month we had quite the experience! Phyllis, Melissa, Richard and I all went to their warehouse to clean it. We moved used stoves, dishwashers, toliets, ovens, microwaves, etc. to the dump. The appliances weren't too bad, but we weren't too excited about moving the toliets. Phyllis said it was fun seeing them get smashed at the dump!

Today Erin, Noah, Shane and Tonya went and worked on the floor of a house. They had a good experience and had fun too.

It's good to know we can do service and help families in need.
